The Bedarra Beach House is nestled remotely near in the serene rainforests of Bedarra Island, just two hours from Cairns International Airport. The island is located off the coast of Northern Queensland, as part of a chain of islands known as the 'Family Islands.' As the second largest island in the group, Bedarra Island is classified as 'the mother' in the family. Dunk Island, which is visible from the windows of our Bedarra Island beach house, is 'the father.' All of the Family Islands are located in the tropical waters of Australia's famed Great Barrier Reef.
